Helped my ankleAug 30, 2007 I started using this in PT for a chronically sprained ankle. The ankle was really weak so it kept spraining, but this mat really helped it. In fact, after I got lazy and stopped using it, I sprained my ankle again... that didn't happen while I was using it. It's also an exercise that gives you really fast, noticeable improvement, unlike other PT exercises. I would also use it to improve balance for athletics if I were so inclined.

ACL problems, balance problems, this is for you!!!!!May 07, 2006 I have been using this item in PT for help with my balance. It does help. It's hard but then as you improve, it becomes easier. I also found using this that since an ACL injury 9+ yrs ago, that at times I walked being very cautious with that leg. Since using this pad, it has forced me to strenghten those muscles in my knee, so I am not favoring it anymore!!! after 9 years!!!!!!
