 I think I have lats now!Feb 13, 2008
The unit is definitely very solid, but then again I only weigh 170 lbs after a day of gluttony. I would give it 5 stars except I'm not particularly fond of the dip handles. It consists of a hard plastic; I would have preferred it to be cushion padded instead. I put it together by myself and it took me about 2 hours. I probably could I save a half an hour if I hadn't used a wrong bolt at one point and had to backtrack a bit. Putting the unit together is a bit of a workout both mentally and physically! I've had it now for a few months and I quite glad I bought this unit instead of a cheaper model.

I bought this a week back...after quite a bit of research on all similar kind of equipment. I thought this was great for the price...and it was indeed great! Very sturdy and looks and feels high quality...I saw one in sport authority for around 125 bucks, but this thing blows that away in terms of everything including the price(for what you get)..I feel this design is superior..
I am extremely satisfied with this product! I highly recommend this for anybody. But this station is somewhat big and thick(which is great), so it occupies some space..be ready for that...
Cons:-
The fixing was easy, except that instructions werent clear on one aspect of the assembly...Which caused me some problems(in fact I thought the equipment was faulty)....but I got that cleared after I called the impex fitness help line...the help line was also good by the way.....I gave this five star even then because now I am happy about this..
Also, because of its unique design, you can do many more exercises than what is advertised..YOu need to use some imagination...try the TC-3500..even that looks good....

This is one of the best dip/chin bars out there. Completely stable and solid. Just look at the design compared to other models that rock and shake wobble as you do your dips. Looks great too. Well worth the $60 more than the $100 versions and better than most of the higher priced ones I've seend. Needs some assembly, but don't they all?
