Good quality product, just a bit noisyMay 09, 2008 You can't go wrong with the price on this item. The structure itself is strong, does not look cheap and no assembling required. I wish the rotator was adjustable to set a stronger resistance but the price on those models are more than double.
Some people reviews say it is a bit noisy but since I have mine in the living room and I use it while watching TV it makes very easy to ignore the noise. Specially if watching American Funniest Videos at night! =)
It works for those days it is too dark/cold/hot to go bike outside. It definely has helped to increase my biking resistance.
Bicycle Trainer That WorksMay 02, 2008 Simple. Simple to set up. Simple to use. Simply does what you expect it to do. Refreshing change from the usual garbage!
Very good product...Apr 13, 2008 Prior to this purchase I knew nothing of bike trainers, and my motivation to purchase one was to simply allow my mountain bike to be used when weather or time do not allow for normal riding. So far, about a months use, I'm really pleased with it. There is no assembly required, and placing the bike into the trainer is very straight forward and easy. Some reviews have mentioned the noise, and I agree that it is noisy on the knobby mountain bike tires, but my wife has reported that she does not notice it in the house when i am in the garage using it. It's also nothing that some headphones cannot drown out for me while riding. I'm happy with the purchase, and I plan on getting a lot of use out of it.
great value.Apr 09, 2008 this is a good product that does what it says. i would have given it 5 stars if the box it came in wasent so dammaged, but fortunately that product was intact. i use the trainer with a cheep cruser bike with a street tire and the noise is minimal. my brother on the other hand, occationaly borrows my trainer and uses his $800.00 plus bike and it is wisper quiet. i really like the product and would recomend

Works as advertisedApr 07, 2008 Put my Canondale 26" on this rack and it works as advertised. It's a little loud, but most of that is due to the tire/tread I have...I'm looking at replacing the back tire with a treadless one made for this type of trainer. You do not have to replace the axle if you have a quick release already...mine fit right in. Setup took about 5 minutes from the box to pedaling. There is no tension adjustment on-the-fly, you have to stop, get off, and adjust the knob against the tire. You can still cycle through the gears on your bike to adjust difficulty. This is probably why it's a lot less expensive. Overall, very good workout, great price...no frills, but it works fine. Construction materials are very solid. Definite recommend.
