GREAT FOR $ AND CONVIENCE!Jun 27, 2008 This chin-up bar has not damaged my wall. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble, and everything you need is in the box. It only snuggly fits one doorway in my apartment. It is very sturdy on that doorway. You need at least a one inch thick/deep door frame for it to rest on. You will be amazed how quickly you get stronger by using it every day. It is much easier than buying/storing/moving heavy dumbbells. Also, when you have company you can take it down in a second, and put it back up later.

Doesnt' work well at allJun 26, 2008 I thought I was purchasing an over the door pull-up bar. This was something that hinges from the door. My screws did not fit so the bars were never solid. It is just not a good purchase.
Works great.Mar 11, 2008 Works great for pull ups on any door jam. Still haven't figured the right setup for using it for sit ups. Instructions are lacking but, luckily, there is a picture on the box to show how it is supposed to look once it's assembled.
Is just OKFeb 16, 2008 It is what you see. However, make sure your door frame is high enough and has no contiguous doors/walls at least 3 feet away. Pretty resistant! I weight 180. I guess is a good buy for the price. EASY to assemble and got shipped quick!
One inherent flawFeb 11, 2008 This pull-up bar is a great buy for the money, but there's one problem. When I'm doing chin-ups my legs rub up against the door. It's not a huge deal, but it does bug me. I don't know if the other over the door pull-up bars make this happen or not. If you plan on doing a lot of pull-ups, I would invest in a pull-up stand. This is great if you're just doing a few every now and then, but as part of a work out program it kinda sucks. Also, because you have to face the door in order to do the pull-ups or chin-ups you can't use the "foot on the chair" technique to squeeze out a couple more after muscle failure. But for $20, it'll do.
