Works Great!Jul 16, 2008 Great product for the price. It works just as advertised and has given me much agony (is that a good thing?). The only thing I would change is the three inches of adjustment screw that protrude from the back of the door. Unless this was designed to be used on a ricepaper door, the adjustment rod is simply too long. However, this is certainly not a significant issue. Great product!
very usefulJul 07, 2008 This item is very simple and useful.
actually you may need mat for the floor at the same time.
I really love itJun 01, 2008 I recommend it because it folds up and away yet is still very accesible. Best thing I've done for my abs- Basic situps are great and should be done with crunches in my opinion. Buy this item I reccomend it highly.
Not for those with small feetMar 20, 2008 My wife bought this and when it arrived she discovered that someone with "small" (women's size 9) feet simply can't get the required leverage for the bar to be effective. The bar is too far away from the door and her feet just float around. It didn't come with any assembly instructions but since there are only two pieces I'm pretty sure we put it together correctly. Nice concept but we'll be returning it.
does what it is supposed toFeb 13, 2008 Works just fine for me; no problems with the fold up feature as others have had. It is a simple concept that works. Some assembly was required--just attach the bar to the bracket with a screwdriver and wrench and pliers. I even did it with just my fingers, though it could be tightened a bit. Do your sit ups and then fold it up agains the door and you're good to go. Recommended.
