4Great matJun 02, 2009
Provides a nice cushion for ab work and other ground activities. (P90X)
Rolls up in a flash and comes with a netted carrying bag for easy travel. Also, this one doesn't smell strange like a lot of other mats out there.

5Works fine for cardio!May 29, 2009
This is a nicely-engineered mat for *some* purposes. As other reviews have indicated, it's not for all. I'm adding this one, because I just wanted something to protect carpet while working out. I didn't need super padding, but I wanted to be able to do cardio boxing on it. I've only had the mat a week or so, but it seems to work great for that. Obviously I don't know how it will wear yet, but the slightly-tacky surface is great for foot movement on it. It's not real thick, so my feet don't sink in on it (especially important since there is carpet and carpet padding under it). The velcro wrapping straps make it handy to roll up and store, and the carry bag would be great if I were ever going to take it anywhere (don't plan to, though). For $20, this is a nice deal.

4great mat. comfortable. soft and easy to maintainApr 18, 2009
great mat. comfortable. soft and easy to maintain. all pluses in my book. oh.. and very affordable. It's not like the mats you find in the gym (or the ones from your gymnasium at school), but good for home use to do a few crunches/situps.

3great for situps, bad for anything elseApr 17, 2009
I received this mat and loved it at first, mostly because I just used to for only situps. But now I have moved on to doing yoga and exercises involving motions and this mat does not cut it. Through every move in yoga or motions this mat stretches out from underneath of you and you lose your pose and then get bad form from it. Another problem that I have with this mat is that if you get the smallest tear possible in it, it will continue stretching and tearing more and more. So my final though is just get it for only using it to do situps or an exercise required no motions at all.

5Right Thickness For How I Work OutMar 15, 2009
I purchased this mat because I was tried of the hard carpeted floor. This mat works well for my workouts, abs, situps, pushups etc. It rolls up and stores nicely in its own carring pouch. For a small condo this is what I need because I refuse to give up a whole room for a workout that I only perform three times a week. For the heavy/bulky workout equipment I can go to the gym. Just what I needed.
