My recent purchase of the Harbinger 340902 Anti-Microbial Pilates Mat has proven to be a fine investment, as I lie on it every day to perform hamstring stretches. This activity, thanks to the mat, is improving my pinched lumbar nerves and gradually the acute leg pain pain is receding. I'm a happy camper!

 Very strong odor Feb 11, 2010
I aquired this product about a month ago and it was timely delivered, but it had this really strong odor that made it impossible to be close to the mat for over 5 min.
I initially though that a few days in a well ventilated area would take the odor away, but I was wrong. It was necessary to dispose it,
I contacted the seller and they issued a full refund.
I'm not sure if it's the anti-microbial feature what brings the odor, maybe I'll try the one without it.
I'm giving 3 stars because the quality looked really good (and the thickness was great) and customer services was great.

This mat is very comfortable due to its thickness. But the chemical smell is overwhelming--stinks up the car and when exercising face down on the mat, it's difficult to tolerate and ignore the feeling that I'm being exposed to something toxic.

This mat is far thicker and more comfortable than most of the mats on the market. It doesn't slide around, it cleans very easily, and it has a nice strap for rolling it up and carrying it with you. My tailbone thanked me for the upgrade from the 1/4" mat that I was using.

I like the mat it has good cushion. I would say that it may be a bit narrow but other than that, it's good
