Excellent high quality recumbent exercise bikeJul 20, 2008
When searching for a recumbent bike, I went to many stores to test the exercise bikes and check on how strong they were built. There are many exercise bikes that are of just cheap or very average quality.
I purchased this recumbent bike online and was extremely surprised when I received the exercise bike. The quality and strenght far exceeded by expectations. The bike seems to be made to commercial quality standards.
The electronics is very detailed, easy to read, and gives you the information you need. The heart rate monitor works very well and of high quality standards.
The seat is extremely comfortable and you can sit there with out have back or sore bottom.
The only thing I can say is WOW what a excellent exercise bike and well spent money. Do not waste your money on cheaper bike that are not well built and of poor quality construction.

The bike arrived earlier than I expected and was extremely well packaged.Instructions for assembling were easily followed. Parts appeared well engineered and constructed. I especially appreciated the way one can adjust the placement of the seat relative to the pedals. It does take some experimentation to learn how to use the various exercise programs.

Hi everyone. I bought this bike for my elderly mother who had broken her hip maybe 10 years ago and was not getting very much exercise. She needed a bike with comfortable seat that had a back. The bike needed to be stable and not apt to tip over. The pedal resistance for her needed to be very easy but which could be made slightly harder to challenge her. As she is rather short, the seat needed to be adjustable such that the shortest setting was sufficiently close to the pedals. These were basically my criteria. Oh, one more I did not want to spent more than $300.00. This bicycle basically met all of my criteria. The only criteria of concern was the adjustable seat. At the shortest seat setting, her feet just barely can pedal comfortably. My mother is probably only about 5 feet tall or maybe slightly under and for her height, the shortest seat setting just barely makes it. The bike is really made for larger people but overall I am very happy with the purchase, delivery time, and Amazon's service.

Ordered the HealthTrainer 540R recumbent exercise bike on May 28th and received on June 3rd....Took about 1 hour to setup which was quite easy and started using it...Very happy with it. Had quadruple by-pass 10 weeks ago and was told by Cardiologist this is one of the good ways to exercise. I have bought many items via [...] and very happy with the service and delivery I recieve.
