I Have An Original Pair That Are At Least 15+ Years OldAug 21, 2008 I have owned a pair of HEAVYHANDS now for over 15 years and I absolutely swear by them. I use them primarily as a separate method of exercising and strengthening my punching skills. I did have to obtain a heavier weight than what they originally came with, I think they are at 4 lbs. now, and I was very glad to see that they have come out with even heavier attachments.
I have found that my punches are stronger and I have more endurance when hitting focus mitts and the heavybag, and a lot of that I attribute to the use of the HEAVYHANDS when I am practicing my punches in the air and shadowboxing. A note of caution; do not punch with full force and be sure and stop your punches before you hyperextend your arm. If you don't, you will end up with some injuries.
As with any piece of exercise equipment, please read the manufacturers instructions and recommendation for use before using the HEAVYHANDS.
