 Sooo noisy!!! Feb 11, 2010
It's way too loud and it's a little slow, but is little so is very easy to store, pull in and out,,,

Had no idea how much we needed an air pump like this till we actually had one to use! We have used this for the kids jump-o-lene [[ASIN:B000068DMD 71.5" x 40" Jump o Lene Jump n Gym]], for rafts and other pool toys, for inflatable mattresses when company visits. Never had one before, and we purchased it specifically for the Jump n Gym, but once we had it, we were shocked at how many times it came in handy!
What's great about it is that it has several different sized nozzles, so you can use it for so many things! Oh, and the fact that you can also use it to deflate stuff really makes life a lot easier! It's super-fast, and I can't believe we went so long without it. Now that I've gotten used to just grabbing the pump when we need something inflated or deflated, I can't imagine not having one.
We highly recommend this air pump. It has been reliable, durable, and very very convenient. By the way, it's not heavy and doesn't take up much space, so you can easily take it with you if you need to. Super-duper recommend it! ;)

I purchased this pump in order to fill a Jumpolene Castle that I got my son for Christmas. I researched thoroughly the reviews for like products, eschewing some of the lesser expensive models due to a preponderance of negative reviews, and going for this pump, which was still priced very attractively and eligible for Prime shipping. And, after promptly filling the many inflatable sections of the Jumpolene in about 10 minutes (as well as refills over the last week), I am very pleased. Yes, it is a tad loud, but not appreciably worse than that of a vacuum cleaner. Included in the box are four nozzles of various sizes that I would imagine would fit just about anything that this pump is suitable for inflating. Do keep in mind, however, that this pump would not have the power or ability to inflate tires (car or bicycle), but for what it is built for (inflating air mattresses, jumpolenes and other inflatable bouncers, beach balls, etc.), it does the trick and does it well.
 Pump burns out Dec 19, 2009
Worked fine initially, but burnt out trying to inflate a simple Jump-o-lene product, and started smoking.....IF I hadnt caught it, it would caught the carpet on fire....This is a safety hazard....On top of that it is extrememly loud!!!!

A well designed product for blowing up air mattresses, baby pools and such. This type of pump produces high volume at low pressure; for pumping tires a different type of pump is needed. The noise level is 85 db at 2 ft, noisier than a vacuum cleaner (about 75 db) tolerable for short periods but one might as well use earplugs if one has them.
