| | | | | | Home | | | | | | | Description: | | The JUNGLE GYM is the perfect workout partner. The JUNGLE GYM's chin-ups challenge users more than traditional fixed wall chin-up brackets because of its unstable nature, forcing the user to constantly adapt and stabilize. You can hook it up anywhere, from a door to a tree limb to an overhanging pole or beam. It can fit into your pocket or backpack (weighs about one pound) and can change lengths in seconds so as to give the user options of how to use it. Comes complete with instructions by fitness expert Jon Hinds, CSCS, CPT, NASM, former strength coach of the LA Clippers. | | | Product Details: | | | Product Weight:

Excellent workout but a couple of little thingsAug 29, 2008 This product gives one heck of a full body workout. It simply takes advantage of body-weight physics, and will really shake your regimen up. For what it costs, I would say it's a bargain, especially since competitors like the TRX are up around 150 bucks (and that's WITHOUT the door bracket). I love it and will continue to use it. Sturdy, and very strong. That being said, you have to watch out for a couple of small details....maybe my inexperience with the apparatus, but here goes: The length adjustment on the straps involves heavy duty metal clips. They're positioned so that when you're doing push-ups, or any sort of pushing exercise, they will rub against your arms and can hurt. You can position the pushup so it doesn't happen, but you need more strength for that. Or, wear long sleeves. Also, it will take time to learn how to put your feet into the foot rests quickly. It's a little awkward at first. Otherwise, a great product.
Simple and lightweight and extremely effectiveFeb 26, 2008 I recently purchased the Lifeline Jungle Gym and I am once again amazed at how innovative this company is for exercise equipment. Forget the high price home gyms that are modeled off by body builders on a daily basis. This is something you can use and put it in your drawer, or suitcase and forget about it until your next workout. I suggest that you go to the website to observe the well done videos and explanation of the variety of exercises you can perform using your body weight. They don't use mirrors, or models... and what you see is exactly what you will get. It will be a good workout for very little money and storage space...all you need is to be motivated enough to use it and you'll get results.

Great product, especially good for travel...Dec 02, 2007 I like this product a lot. It truly is versatile, easy to use and provides a good upper body workout. As you may know, chin ups, various kinds of rows and flies work a large percentage of overall body muscle fiber and basically all of the upper body. In addition, this item can be used for stretching, assisted rows and chin ups and can easily fit in a suitcase. Like most good ideas, this is simple, but effective.
