This vest if used correctly is not terrible. If you are broke, on a very limited income or just dont have a lot of cash this is the vest for you. 20 lbs is 20 lbs any way you want to put it. Its VERY uncomfortable and possibly life threatening if you dont wear a lot of clothes underneath it. The reason is its made of nylon and not supportive at all. If you wore this against just a sweatshirt your circulation in your shoulders would be cut off and you would have some major problems. FOrtunately I own a 4 lb coat, and its thick enough to protect me. If you got the cash go with the X-vest, but if not, buy this and buy a SUPER THICK I MEAN SUUUUUPPPPEEEERRRR Thick coat to go underneath. I lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks by walking nearly everyday about 35 minutes. Vest (minus a few sandbags and the coat weighs 22lbs) so yea I am very happy with the weight loss and muscle building of this vest. It has gained me a lot of muscle in my back, took inches off my tummy fat and gave me a huge increase in stomach muscle. The muscle in my stomach is bigger than that of my pectorals. THis is also usefull for doing curls. The 20 lbs taking a weight gain supplement the max I got to was 49. I am 26 and weigh 154. The weight gain supplement I used was Heavyweight Gainer 900 Cinna-graham Slam 3.3 Lb by Champion Nutrition

Not sure which I was taking but god that Cinna-Gram slam tastes GREAT! Best tasting one out there.
Hope this was of use. Yes the vest tears easily so treat it with care. I dont complain much so this is the best review I can muster up about it.

verry badly made, rips at the seams, needed to re-sew it and its not worth returning. verry annoying, every time i wear it it rips in a diffrent place. first - sholders, second - weight pockets, third seams near the sides and chest. i needed to re-sew it and its quite annoying. i have re enforced every seam that may even have a chance at ripping so it is impossable for it to rip. it took around 13 spools of customly re enforced and engeneered thread. made by extra compacted and weaved thread. incredibly hard to break. i still doubt its original crudy frame will hold.

This product is terrible. It tore a ripped at the seems. It did not last me 30 days. It is the worst weighted exercise vest on the market. This was the first and last time I will ever buy a product online. I would NEVER recommend this product or purchasing online.
