Nice, very nice Feb 08, 2010
I just got this mp3 player about a week ago. So far I am really enjoying it. Would suggest getting a screen cover or one of those clear, hard plastic covers though because the screen scratches easily. LOVE the micro SD expandable storage. Be sure to download the Sansa Media Converter (free download) from the Sandisk website.

best mp3 player out of the 5 I own Feb 08, 2010
This is my 4th mp3 player and definitely the best I own. My other 3 are the archos jukebox 20gb, sandisk sansa m250 2gb and visual land vl-885 16gb.
The first thing I noticed that separates this from the other 2 is the music quality playback. The visual land has a very loud and noticeable buzzing hum background with distortion. The sandisk has a very quiet low buzz almost undetectable but still present. The archos jukebox had no extra noise except for the hard drive clicking. Finally the sansa fuze has absolutely NO background noise or anything at all except for the music playing. If I wanted background noise then I would still be using cassette tapes.

Another great thing about the fuze is the micro sd slot expansion. I put in the 16gb sandisk micro sd and it works great.
Having over 10gb of music on it, navigating is very important. The fuze sorts it in all the correct ways including by folder name - very useful when some albums or artists can list in the 100s so it's good to go directly to the folder to get to a specific album, artist, or whatever you designed it.

Only limitation is the video since the screen is so small it's not really worth watching a movie with this.
Also charging the battery is only by USB. Wish they would include a plug in the wall charge.

Word of advice: Make sure you get a flash memory mp3 player. My archos jukebox hard drive skips when running, and eventually crashed permanently. Hard drives are also slower in accessing music.

The SanDisk Sansa Fuze is a really great product. It is very simple to use. You can download pictures and music. It operates on Window Media and has FM radio presets. The sound is great and the screen is very bright, easy to see.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. At first she had a problem, but it was the fault of the computer, not the mp3 player. She loves it and is very happy with it.

My wife bought me this 2GB player for Christmas. I REALLY enjoy this product. Battery life is great. The size is perfect. The reception and sound on the radio stations is better than in my car. I can't say anything bad about this player. I am well-pleased, and at $45, it's super-affordable. It's just really refreshing to purchase a good, quality product, and I feel like I got a tremendous value when judging the quality vs the price.
