penny wise...penny foolishAug 11, 2008
Seemed like a good idea at the time, especially after having no luck finding a good, inexpensive dumbbell rack locally. This one won't do very well, however. Unless you have it on a perfectly flat surface it has a tendency to tip, even moreso when you've got heavy weights on it. Also inconvenient, since you have to use two hands to get the weight out and in.

Save your $20...May 10, 2008 I saw this weight rack and thought it was a great chance to buy an inexpensive organizer for my hand weights, which range from 5 lbs. to 12 lbs. What a joke! I put my weights on it and the next day I heard a loud noise. The rack had toppled over from -- of all things -- the weight! Now in order for it to work, I have to lean it against the wall. I was only trying to store 70 lbs. of weight... not even the 100 lbs. it says it can hold. I should have known when it arrived and looked like it was made of styrofoam and was as light as a feather. Anyway, save the headache and your $20 because this is about as good a weight rack as storing them on top of an empty cardboard box.
