the second one worked out Aug 23, 2010 The first one I ordered came in a broken box with broken pieces. The second came in with no broken pieces. It is not a minitramp and works well in my basement gym where the ceiling is low. I was looking for an aerobic piece of equipment in addition to my stationary bike. It gives a terrific aerobics workout. You press down, not jump up which takes some getting used to. I do not fold it after use ,which I could, since it rolls to the side and tucks away. The additional bar for balance is helpful when you get started or running. It was extremely easy to assemble. the dvd workout included was helpful in understanding how it works. I do not plan on getting more workout DVDs as I just want to keep this simple.
Urban Reb. Review Aug 20, 2010 The Urban Rebounder is great. There are multiple things you can do with your workout, so for days not spent at a gym, it provides a wonderful alternative. It uses a lot of different muscle groups too. The bar makes it a lot safer than the original trampoline without one. Along with being very affordable , it's also very easy to assemble. I love it.

Fun! Aug 07, 2010 After many months of comparison shopping, Urban Rebounder won my vote. It is sturdy and quiet. (Some of the less expensive units are very noisy). It took me about 10 minutes to set it up for the first time (out of the box). It is very resilient and feels solid under your feet. The 'railing' has a little bit of movement, but it is intended to help you stabilize, not support you. I found I didn't need it at all and simply removed it from the holders. Great unit and worth the money.

Horrible Customer Service Aug 04, 2010 I bought my first Urban Rebounder from an infomercial and absolutely loved it. I purchased a second one directly from the Urban Rebounder website. It arrived in used condition (mat was all stretched out, several broken springs, frame was scratched and dented) Customer service insisted it was damaged in shipment and told me they would file a claim with Fedex. Months went by and nothing was happening; my repeated calls were just given the run around. They finally agreed to charge my debit card, send me out a new one and credit me when they received the defective one. I followed through but was never credited. Unfortunately since I used my debit card I had no recorse. Repeated calls were again given the run around. Worst customer service ever!!! Went on Better Business Bureau Online to check them out and found they have a rating of "F" for their terrible business practices:

Would definately not recommend anyone purchase directly from Urban Rebounder. Maybe if you buy from Amazon you will have more protection.

Too Good to Be True Jul 13, 2010 Let me start by saying that this equipment is really, REALLY fun. I jumped for about 1.5 hours the first day I got it. Along with three DVD's and fitness bands, it seemed like a great deal.
I ignored the fact that the spring cover was ripped when the item arrived. I also ignored that springs kept coming unhooked and are damned hard to hook back. But, then the mat broke. On the first day. The mat ripped and a spring flew off, and this time no amount of grunting and groaning was going to get it stretched back into place (the section connecting the mat to the spring was torn completely free). Poor craftsmanship that I will now have to PAY to return.
I would have really loved this item if it hadn't been constructed so poorly.
Edited to say: Amazon gave me a full refund. I love Amazon so much.
