Adjustable Ankle/Wrist WeightsJul 17, 2008 I was very pleased with my purchase of adjustable ankle/wrist weights. They came in a timely fashion and will be perfect for my rehab.

Clunky thingsMay 22, 2008 These are heavy, clunky things that are hard to put on. The velcroe strips make this ripping noise, and it's really awkward to make them snug and secure on your ankles. I didn't like them from day one and ended up giving them away. Forget this product.
Does the JobMay 13, 2008 I purchased these Valeo weights because I was very weak after spending 3 months in the hospital & 1 month in rehab. I use them on my legs & do a variety of leg workouts to strengthen my leg muscles. I like that you can remove some of the weight simply by opening a velcro closure & pulling it out but I find them a bit awkward to put on but once on they are not going anywhere! I recommend these to anyone who are looking to improve muscle tone in either their arms or legs.

Not Easily AdjustableApr 07, 2008 As other reviewers have noted, the cheap plastic, made in China, SAND filled bags are difficult to put back into the pockets, making the weights less "adjustable" than they should be. It took me about 5 minutes to squish 2 bags back into the slots, all the while fearful that the bags would burst sending sand everywhere. This greatly interrupted my workout. They are also made to fit around fairly large ankles, so they may be loose on petite women. When they break (probably soon), I will look to see if they still make the metal ones I remember my mom having in the 80s.
