Manufacturer's Warranty Frame - 10 years, parts - one year, labor - 90 days About Exercise Bikes Despite the competition from trendy new fitness inventions, exercise bikes continue to be popular options for home exercise. They offer the same aerobic benefits of riding a bicycle at any time, in any weather, without leaving the comfort and safety of home. Exercise bikes don't take up much space, require little or no balance or coordination, and can provide an effective workout for all levels of users, from beginners to serious competitors. While the same could be said for a number of other types of home fitness equipment, the exercise bike is one of the few that allows you to watch television or read a magazine while you work out. For many people, having convenient access to quality exercise equipment is critical to sticking with a long-term exercise program.
An adjustable seat ensures a comfortable ride for multiple users while a water bottle holder will keep your hydration source close while exercising. | | | | Features: | |

A good Bike for us So FarSep 10, 2008 Wife and I both use this bike.....me, mostly due to heart disease. We use it everyday.....and yes, as some others have indicated.....it does require some periodic "re-tightening" and checking of it's fittings. Assembly was not bad......but when the item arrived, the blister pack containing all the nuts, bolts, washers, etc had broken and all of these parts we loose in the box and it took a long time to gather them up and get them re-organized. Seat came loose one time, but re-tighting it seems to have corrected the problem. For us, and our particular needs......we are pleased with the bike and feel the price paid was reasonable.
Fairly Good BuySep 06, 2008 This is my 4th Exercise Bike over the last few years & would summarize as follows:
PROS:
1) Fairly good construction - More stable than the $100-exercise bicycle that I owned previously
2) Reasonable to assemble - Takes about 45 minutes for someone mechanically inclined
3) Nice adjustable seat - The ability to adjust the seat vertically as well as horizontally is nice to accomodate any height and arm length
4) Front wheels - This makes it very mobile for storage or use in another room
CONS:
1) Not enough resistance - They advertise a "fan driven unlimited air resistance", but it does not become more challenging with faster pedaling. I had to rig up my own method to obtain greater resistance and get a decent workout.
2) Very hard seat - They "promise a more comfortable ride, even after a marathon exercise session." A marathon session is impossible because it's too painful. I recommend an additional seat cushion.
Overall, I'm glad that I purchased it, but it has taken additional modifications to make it useful for me.

Not RecommendedJul 12, 2008 All, I wouldn't recommend this product. I put the item together, and it lasted about 3 hours. First the seat retaining nut and bolt assy came flying off. Secondly, the pedal assy bolt came out after less than a 15 min workout. This caused the biggest problem, after happening a second time, the screw thread in the crank arm was wore out. After all this, I got so disgusted with my purchase, I just threw the darn thing out.

is this pricey for what it does?Mar 02, 2008 First off, not a review of this machine but I do have an old Schwinn cycle fan stationary exercise bike that looks almost like this.
Am I missing something here? Is this a reasonable price -- and I'm talking about the sales price of about $300 vs $500.
I'm grateful for my Schwinn (maybe an antique) cycle with fan which doesn't look all that different from this -- it has the electonic meter, a fan and set of wheels to move it with.
If I didn't have that, I'd get some stand that took a bike off its wheels and set a fan to blow up at me before paying $300.
I'm thinking it should cost half of the sales price of $300 for what it is.
